Freshly baked stuffed cookies, delivered to your door. Or your mate’s doorstep as a gift, or to the office, anywhere in the UK. Here’s exactly how our cookie delivery works, when your box will turn up, and how to make sure it lands on a specific day.
Every cookie we send is baked to order. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for someone to buy it. We bake on our dispatch days, pack the boxes the same day, and hand them to DPD for next day delivery. We charge the same flat £4.99 shipping rate whatever you order, from a single box of four to a full spread for a party. (The flat rate excludes Northern Ireland; if that’s where you are, drop us an email before ordering and we’ll let you know the options.)
We dispatch twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so your delivery day depends on when you order:
Weekends and bank holidays don’t count as dispatch days. Most parcels land the next working day, but couriers are couriers, so if the cookies are for a particular occasion, give yourself a day’s buffer. They’ll stay fresh.
Once your box is on its way, DPD will send you a tracking number directly so you can follow the order. On the morning of delivery you’ll get a one-hour time slot by text or email, so you’re not stuck in all day watching the window. If you can’t be in, you can ask DPD to leave the parcel in a safe place, with a neighbour, or at a DPD pickup shop. If you miss the delivery altogether, contact DPD to rearrange it. The cookies are baked and dispatched on the same day and will keep for several days, so a short delay won’t ruin them.
A birthday, an anniversary, a “sorry I ate your leftovers” situation. If your cookies need to arrive on a particular day, email help@dolliescookies.co.uk before you order, tell us the date, and we’ll do our best to make it happen. For bigger orders, such as an office drop or an event, see our corporate and bulk orders page.
Honest answer: ours aren’t letterbox-friendly and won’t fit through one. A stuffed cookie is thick by design (there’s a centre of Biscoff spread or Nutella in there, and it needs somewhere to live), so they travel in a proper box, handled by DPD with a one-hour slot so you know when to expect them. If you’re sending cookies as a gift and the person you’re sending them to is out a lot, choose a safe place or a neighbour at the DPD stage. The box will be fine for a few days.
Seven days at room temperature, stored somewhere cool and dry and out of direct sunlight. Day one is the best day, so if you can, eat them when they arrive. If you can’t, most of our cookies freeze well for up to six months. Defrost at room temperature, then warm them for ten seconds in the microwave or five minutes at 180°C in the oven and they’ll go molten in the middle again.
Allergen and ingredient details are listed on every product page, so check there before you order for someone else.
If you’re in or near Leicester, you can collect from our production unit at 32 High View Close, Leicester LE4 9LJ. We’re not a shop, so there’s no counter of ready-made stock. Place your order online, choose local pickup at checkout, and pick a date and time slot that suits. Turn up without an order and you’re looking at a wait of around thirty minutes while we bake, subject to how busy the ovens are.
Pick a one-flavour box, build your own mix of four, or send an e-gift card and let them choose from the full range. Restock lands every Tuesday at 12pm.
